In our continuing quest to show you everything you could possibly want to see from the 2015 LA Roadsters show, we have this collection of cool coupes from the event for your viewing pleasure today. Despite sharing most of the same visual cues as their roofless brothers, coupes (to us) always look tougher, especially when chopped, than roadsters. Maybe it is the short windshield or the added mystery of not being able to look right into the gut of the car, but coupes tend to turn our crank a little harder than roadsters do. Here in this collection you will see couples as an evolution over the years. From the stripped, square dry lakes style cars to the rounded fender cars that populated the post WWII market, the coupe has been and forever will be a great part of hot rodding.
The number of coupes available in the world today is actually shrunken vastly from what was available decades ago. Virtually every model was available as a coupe or a sedan and that is no longer the case now. Today coupes are mostly relegated to the realm of sporty cars and super cars, or standard cab pickups if you really want to get wide with the definition. Trust us when we say that every car in this collection of images is cooler than a coupe you could buy today.
