We told you that we had shot virtually everything that there was to shoot at the 2015 LA Roadsters show which was held last weekend at the Pomona Fairplex. The historic show has been a staple in the hot rodding scene around Los Angeles for half a century and it has lived most of its life at the historic Fairplex. Some people get confused when we run photos of stuff that isn’t roadsters from the event but the name is not derived because only roadsters are featured but because the show has been put on by the LA Roadsters car club for all these years. Yes, roadsters are in high supply with some 900 known  to show up during bigger years and we’ll be back to showing you more of them tomorrow.

As long as there have been guys zipping around in roadsters there have been other guys lumbering around in trucks. From big rolling workhorses like the Mack above or small utilitarian rigs like the ancient Ford below, trucks have been as big a part of the hot rodding scene as cars over the years. It was how cars got to the track, how engines got to the shop, and how your broken junk got home sometimes. You will see them laid out, customized, patina rich, and painted to the nines in this collection.
