Every week someone tells me about something they bought somewhere in the rest of the country and I about puke when I see what it looks like and how much they paid. Often the same car, but without all the rust repair needed, can be found in California for only a few hundred, maybe a thousand, more. Since you can ship a car most anywhere in the country for $1000 or less, the two grand that the California ride costs above the easter car is a bargain compared to the $3000 plus in rust and bodywork that will be required. It makes me want to buy up square body C10 pickups and ship them out to Kansas or something and start listing them on Craigslist. They are stacked up like cord wood out here.
But I digress. Here are more of our photos from the Pomona Swap Meet last weekend her in SoCal. Haven’t been? Make a reservation for flights for next year and get your ass out here.
