Here is our third gallery of photos from the Ribs and Rods Show in Temple Texas. This show isn’t one of these giant ones that take all day just to see part of it, but man the cars and trucks there are cool and the venue is awesome. (Photos by Charles Wickam) Last year Charles called and asked if I wanted to come down for the Ribs and Rods Barbecue Competition and Car show in Temple which sounded like perfection to me. So Dad and I headed that way and met up with Wickam and walked the entire show while snapping photos. This past weekend was the 2021 edition of this show and unfortunately, I couldn’t make it. Lucky for all of us, Wickam could so he shot a jillion photos from the show and shared them with all of us.

There were hundreds of cars and trucks on site and they include some interesting rides that you might not expect to see. Last year there were Pro Street cars and several mini trucks too! What will we find in these great galleries from Charles? Whatever it is we know they are cool. And speaking of cool, this venue is one of the coolest little show grounds ever. It’s a park that not only sets a great stage for a car show and cook-off, but also gives plenty of space for camping overnight. That was our plan for this year, but we’ll have to wait until next year for that one.
