SEMA 2015 Coverage: Engines! Here’s A Bunch Of Photos Featuring Nothing But Mills At The Show

At the root of all of this SEMA stuff is one thing. Engines. Hot rods and cool cars are defined by different people different ways but the one thing that virtually everyone asks is “how much power does it make?” The fun thing is that the answers are all relative. Show someone an old British sports car and tell ’em that it makes 200hp. They’ll be impressed and you’ll have a fun car. Tell someone your big tire drag car does that and they’ll laugh you off the street corner. See what we mean?

In many of these photos the engine becomes a stylistic part of the car as much as it is the beating heart of the automobile. The detail that car builders today achieve in their work is beyond anything that even some of the great craftsmen from decades back could do and using the engine as part of a complete design package for a car is really fun to see.

Us? We like things brutally in-you-face. There’s one particular engine in here that you know we were in love with and it happens to have two of something. Not two turbos…you’ll see it below.
