This weekend we hit up the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale to get our first look ever at the show and to help get everything setup for Ridetech’s 48 Hour C-10 Build that is going on LIVE all week long at the show and right here at BANGshift.com. When we say first look ever, we mean it. We’ve never been to the Scottsdale Barrett-Jackson, and we were blown away. We only had a short time to run around and shoot some photos, but we still got plenty to show you throughout the week and we just want to go back! It’s amazing, and is truly a gearhead event of massive proportions, not just an auction. It’s part car show, amazing shopping experience, and a great place to eat and drink as well. We are going to have some special blog items about some specifics at the event, but figure we should start out with photos of cars to wet your whistle.

These guys singlehandedly ruined the car industry.
I completely agree. When I turned 16 I used to drive all over the countryside trying to find old cars. Since the debut of these auctions and “build and flip” shows on television it is in the conscious of everyone, not just car people, that anything with a chrome bumper is worth 2 to 3 times what it’s actually worth.
Just curious what that Bill Thomas Cheetah will ring at the auction.
You need to blame the internet for the rise in prices of these old cars. Gone are the days of looking thru the want ads.

This is a top notch event that one needs to experience in person
