PSA Video: Running 145psi Of Compressed Air Through Your Turbo Keychain Has A Negative Result

It’s Friday and many of you out there are going to be headed off for a long weekend. It could be a long weekend of racing, of hanging out with family, or just relaxing at the unofficial end of summer. Because of that we’re figuring you are in the mood for a laugh. This video should provide one because it did for us. Ever get one of those little turbocharger keychains? The ones where you can blow into and get the wheel to spin up, making little whooshing noise. They are fun. My kids have them, simple entertainment at its finest. What about running 145psi of compressed air through one? That has a negative effect on the lifespan of the keychain. Thankfully we have dudes like the one who made this video to illustrate that clearly.

The only surprising thing about this video is the fact that the keychain actually survived the initial couple, of air bursts. We’re guessing that the dude could have gotten hurt if the high speed disassembly included parts and chunks hitting him in the eyeballs or something but when the thing fails, it comes apart pretty clean.

Dumb? Sure. Funny? We think so.
