(Photos by Johnny Gaudette) – The other day we dropped some cool photos on you from the 2013 Orange Drag Strip Reunion which was recently held in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. This event is a BangShift approved deal that is held at an old airport. Featuring a relaxed atmosphere, 330′ drag flag start races on the runway, a killer car show, and lots of people just looking to have a good time with minimal hassles, this event has been growing year after year. Basically, it showcases drag racing and hot rodding in its most basic and raw form. That’s the good stuff in our eyes.
Johnny Gaudette was on the scene and blasted this and the earlier gallery we featured. Johnny is a young guy and is totally into the whole scene, which is really awesome to see. It is events like this that help to get guys into the car hobby full bore. Johnny said that he had a blast at the event and we think that statement tells you all that you need to know!
Great agllety, lots of killer cars and rods…very in line with my personal tastes. I would had been tripping over my tongue.
