(Photos by Charles Wickam) – In an effort to bring you the coolest and most interesting 2014 Holley NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion Coverage possible, BangShift photo contributor Charles Wickam brought a new piece of photo kit for the weekend, a sweet fisheye lens. All of the photos in this gallery were taken with the new lens and we have to admit that we think that they’re boss. Why? Basically looking through this gallery gave us the feeling that we were peering at old 1970s drag racing magazines which employed the cool and distorted view of the fisheye frequently, resulting in images that were both trippy and totally awesome. Wickam did all the old masters justice with these photos which look like they belong on those pages.
These are some of the neatest (in our opinion) photos we have ever run by Charles and the look fits the feel of this nostalgic reunion drag race better than we could ever hope to explain with words. Now that you know that, check ’em out!

Great shots Charles.
Our 7th year attending the race . As usual, totally fantastic.
Except for some rain friday morning , weather was much more
comfortable. 3 days of top shelf racing and beautiful cars.
Brian, excellant job on the mike and Chad did his usual
top shelf work i am sure. We just got home after a 10 hour
drive.
Thanks ,
Larry and Peggy
