There are more cars, series, engine builders, chassis builders, tracks, and technology surrounding full bodied drag cars than have ever existed in history. That being said, not all of them are created equal. The famed Mad Mule series that is run at GALOT  Motorsports Park in North Carolina is one humdinger of a show. Nestled in the heart of the ‘slammer racing world, this “local” series beings so many of the heavy guns our to compete it is insane. From Lizzy Musi to Rickie Smith, it’s a true throw down each and every time they have one of these races.

Our man Benoit Pigeon was on hand for the series finale and he filed this awesome collection of images that show off the power and coolness of the cars that attend the series’ events. Huge motors, header flames, blowers, and great paint. Yes, this is what its always been about when it comes to full bodied drag cars!
