(Photos by Bob Winfield) – The NHRA Arizona Nationals were insane from top to bottom. The top fuel speed record was rest three times in one day, Derrick Kramer was the number one qualifier in pro stock, John Force had a massive explosion and ensuing two car wreck, and the NHRA had a sellout on Sunday. Just about every possible emotion that could be touched in the sport of drag racing was touched over the course of the race.

Header flames, wheel stands, and fun of all shapes and sizes are here for you to enjoy. Drag racing is a sport of high emotion and that’s exactly what it was in the high desert last weekend.
