(Photos by Jeff and Mike Burghardt) – Here’s our final look at the cars, the people, and the action at the 2018 NHRA Denso 4-Wide Nationals in Las Vegas. You’ll see photos of all the winners cars, you’ll see photos of drivers, and most importantly you will see photos of fuel altereds! One of the coolest moments in the whole weekend was when the vintage fuel altereds came to the starting line and ran four wide. These were not just four altereds. No these were four-wheel legends. The Rat Trap, The Winged Express, The Bradford’s Fiat, and Nanook all took the tree and charged down the track twice over the weekend. It was exceptional stuff.

All the winners both professional and sportsman have a unique memory. Yes, the sportsman ran side by side but the realty is that this event was nothing like it has ever been before. The crowds were massive and the history made over the course of the event was second to none in modern drag racing. Anyone who holds one of these Wallys has something really, really special in their collection. We had a blast and we hope you enjoyed the photos over the last several days!
