2018 NHRA Dutch Classic Action Photos: Stockers Wheels Up and Cool At Maple Grove!

(Photos by Joe Grippo) – The NHRA Division One season ends with an event at Maple Grove every year called the Dutch Classic. This is always an awesome assemblage of Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series talent, especially so in the stock and super stock ranks. Our own Joe Grippo was at his home track to take in the action and take in the cars as they stood on the rear wheels and powered down the historic strip in Reading, PA. Division One has always been a massive powerhouse when it comes to fielding top shelf stocker and super stockers, the Dutch in 2018 proved that it still is.

There are photos from the pits and a bunch from the track. Check them out below. We could run off at the mouth but it is Friday and you just want to see cool cars. We can respect that. Oh, one note though. The AA/SA Camaro in green. That belongs to England’s Nic Williams and he shipped that sucker over, bought a trailer, rented a dually, and hit the road. He raced Indy and loads of other races with this thing. Talk about bad ass!
