(Photos by Joe Grippo) – We’re back with one final installment of Joe Grippo photos from the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Nationals which were held recently at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland. Cecil County is one of the neatest old school tracks on the east coast. Pro Mod racer Jim Halsey runs the place and it has been around for decades, meaning that it has been part of all the awesome stories you hear the olds guys tell about days gone by. It also make the joint exceptionally right to be holding events like this one.
Here we’ll see a great number of cars in the pits, the staging lanes, and rolling around. As Joe was racing at this event as well as blasting photos with his picture taking machine, we’re doubly thankful for his diligence! He did not have to do this and we appreciate his efforts. We also think it is cool to show you events like this as proof that there’s always something cool happening out there in the automotive world, you’ve just gotta go find it!
