This time we are showing off sportsman drag racing, something close to our hearts here at BangShift. Both Chad and I were sportsman drag racers once a upon a time and we both totally dig those racers who are running in classes like Stock, Super Stock, Super Gas, and more. This collection also has some of the awesome heads-up Factory Stock Showdown cars, alcohol funny cars, as well as alcohol dragsters thrown in for good measure.
The Gatornationals proved to be a massive race on many levels. Millions of people tuned in to watch eliminations and what they got was one heck of a show. I have always known that the Gainesville Raceway was considered one of the fastest tracks on the NHRA. It was from this start, during the 2000 Mac Tools NHRA Gatornationals, that eight out of 10 national records were set in professional classes.
