I grew up as an RC car enthusiast, and still think they are awesome and fun. So do tons of other folks, including a lot of racers and their families. In the last couple years, RC Drag Racing has made a huge leap in popularity and with that has come a lot more parts and components specifically designed for those cars. Some of the larger manufacturers have even come out with their own door car drag racing kits, and Ready to Run cars, which is a big step forward for the sport. At the same time that this form of RC car racing is experiencing big growth, Cash Days Street Car Racing has never been more popular. So it should come as no surprise that RC drag racing and Cash Days would come together to create the biggest RC car drag race anyone has ever seen.
All the racing is 1/10 scale, but the purse is for real at $25,000 actual dollars to the winner. This is some bitchin racing right here and I certainly wish I had been there to see it all in person.
Here is the information from the 1320Video description:
Tulsa, Oklahoma is no stranger to Cash Days events..but this one is a little out of the ordinary. The cars aren’t regular cars, nor is the track. Everything is 1/10 scale..besides the drivers. If you haven’t figured it out yet..this is an RC Car Cash Days. Yup, that’s right – RC Car Drag Racing. You’d think it’s just a hobby..but these guys are competing for $25,000! The second annual Super Chip RC Drag Race attracts some of the heaviest hitters from all forms of RC racing, and some of the coolest cars in RC drag racing!
Loved it!!
