You might remember this Honda Odyssey…about a month ago, we ran a somewhat tongue-in-cheek video where a lawnmower engine was powering the people-mover. Yeah…that was a joke, and a good one too. But here’s the real deal: it’s now a turbocharged, 730 wheel-horsepower machine packing the five-speed transaxle out of a Prelude and a parachute on the tailgate. That’s a solid upgrade for a sand silver kiddie wagon that most BangShifters would’ve sold for car parts. The BoostedBoiz YouTube group brought the minivan down to Florida to play at a half-mile event with some of the better known names in the world of gearhead video makers: Cleetus from 1320Video, Rob Ferretti from SuperSpeeders, VehicleVirgins, and more. It’s all in fun, of course, and there’s no real award besides bragging rights, but that comes when you win. And a front-driver minivan, boost and all, against that twin-turbo monstrosity that Cleetus races? Is that even fair?
