It was also a win that many in the radial vs the world universe did not predict happening so soon. In short, it was a door slammer throw down for all time in the sport of drag racing. The quickest RvW bump spot in history, the quickest top half of an RvW field in history, the world record reset multiple times. Winning this race meant taking on the best in the world and stomping each and every one of them into the Earth.

The car that Alex Laughlin drives has been around for a while. First campaigned by the Bad9er Racing team out of Texas, it has been a scew blower equipped hemi powered rig since day one. Tuned by Frankie “The MadMan” Taylor out of Texas, this thing was on rails from day numbers one. The car ran into the 3.60s zone on its first pass, which was as quick as Laughlin had ever been and it was as quick as the car had ever been as well. Right out of the gate, these guys were on fire.
