America’s Most Hated Camaro Owner Is Back And Better Than Ever – Watch The Hollywood Trucking Camaro Destroyed At Byron Again

America’s Most Hated Camaro Owner Is Back And Better Than Ever – Watch The Hollywood Trucking Camaro Destroyed At Byron Again

Everyone probably remembers the famed “Hollywood Trucking” Camaro that the owner pretty much destroyed by his own hand at the World Power Wheelstanding Championships last year, right? This was a relatively clean looking first generation Camaro drag race car that was setup to pull some huge wheelies in hopes of winning the fame, glory, and prize money that comes along with Ron Leek’s epic invention of an event every fall at Byron Dragway in Byron, Illinois. After busting the front end out of the car and then having it welded together only to bash the wall the next time up we were figuring that was the last of our emerald Camaro hero. Not so fast there, Sparky.

The guy came back in 2016 and boy did he ever. The car gets abused and hammered even harder than 2015 and the weirdest part of the whole thing is that his sideshow act garnered way more attention than the wheelie he did. How? Wreck your car on a burnout, back it up and wheelie it with a freshly mangled nose and then come back out and blow your junk up in the burnout box while trying to smoke the whole track out, that’s how.

This is just bizarre. The mattress strapped to the roof is pretty hilarious and we’re into the whole thing but nothing went right for this guy and we’re not sure if he is unlucky or just someone who could not care less for the health and well being of that car. It seems like most of the battle scars of last year were removed before he did this to it.

We love how unfazed the starting line crew is when the thing blows up. Amazing stuff.

Love the blower surge!!!! It obviously could be/was a pretty serious race car. Sadly, now just a exhibition/clown car – ‘glass nose, repo trim parts, tax write off as entertainment expense – quote from ‘Scarface’: “He got so much money he don’t fly straight anymore”

Big difference between a showman and a no driving douchebag.

I’m afraid he is the latter…

After he drove the car into the wall on the burnout, the track Officials still let him run down the strip with the bumper hanging and parts & pieces all over the place ?

Organized Drag Racing certainly has gone down several notches since I last looked. I would never consider attending another drag race meet and would strongly caution others against doing so after watching this shit show.

Maybe they can get Hot Rod Roadkill interested in sanctioning the next race ? or Better Yet, take whats left of that thing to the next cars & coffee and have a great Big Wreck leaving that will bring national news coverage and then the banning of all cars & coffee get togethers Nationally. Perfect.

    Yeah, that’s it, Think Big.

This wasn’t a drag race, this was the World Power Wheelstanding Championships but I get your point.

Maybe next year they can headline a Camaro wheelie nut vs a Mustang car show leaving destruction derby! Pass me another beer Bubba!

People, you all got your panties in a twist! So he wrecked the car, did the same thing last year. You rebuild it and have fun another day.
