The 2013 photo highlight reels continue with great BangShift contributor Steve Wilson sharing his favorite “picks of the little” from a busy 2013 shooting season. Wilson is based out of the center of the country so he spends lots of time at placed like Tulsa Raceway Park, Mo-Kan Dragway, and other strips in that neck of the woods. He also spends lots of those race days shooting with his son Dallas. We’re a little miffed to admit that because the kid is way better at this stuff than we are and it makes us sad that a guy not quite in junior high can blow us into the weeds! We won’t hold that against Steve, though.

Anyway, Steve picked out some really fantastic photos for this collection of shots and they run the gamut from hunkered over Chevys to near vertical Fords and more. While it is true that virtually anyone can sit at the side of the track and zap photos of drag race cars, the guys who are really good at it like Wilson capture images that really make you stop and look. You’ll understand what we’re saying as you start to scroll down this page and see his submissions. Virtually any one of these shots would look boss as a poster on any racer or fan’s wall. Hell, we’d wallpaper the house with them if the wife would allow it!
