Coming in a couple of weeks, BangShift.com will kick off our live broadcast year with the airing of the 2016 Real Pro Mod Association Winter Warm Up LIVE and FREE from Palm Beach International Raceway. 20 of the NHRA’s best pro mods, drivers, and crew will be on hand and putting on the door slammer show of the early season at PBIR and we’ll have it all from the first runs on Friday right through the conclusion on Sunday. The racers will be qualifying on Friday and Saturday and racing for a $20,000 purse on Sunday! That’s right there’s $20,000 on the line and of course the bragging rights and the momentum that one team will carry with them into the Amalie Oil that commences the 2016 J&A Services NHRA Pro Mod Series season.
The Real Pro Mod Association had this to say about how the event came together:
“Pro Mod racer Danny Rowe, along with JEGS representative, Scott Woodruff, helped put the program together with Palm Beach International Raceway. Rowe, a member of the RPM Board said “Palm Beach is a perfect location for all of the RPM teams to prepare for the start of the season. Everyone loves the weather there in February, and with the track putting up a good purse for the weekend, the fans will get a great show of 250 mile-per-hour racing.”
Running in conjunction with the program will be the Southern Sportsman Spectacular with multiple big dollar bracket classes running for piles of cash.
We’re excited to be live streaming this event and it’ll be a great way to kick off the 2016 season! Tune in on Friday 2/26/2016 and stay with us all weekend as we see who’s quick, who’s fast, and who will leave with a big chunk of the $20,000!
