The NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series is in Virginia this weekend, and we’ve got a Friday recap as well as all four professional category number one qualifiers to catch up on. We’re sure that the names Arana, Schumacher, Force, and Anderson are certainly not going to be a surprise as they currently hold down the number one spots in Pro Stock Motorcycle, Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock respectively. But can they hold these spots through Saturday’s qualifying sessions? They’ll have two more shots at the track, and so will everyone else. And as we’ve seen this year, being number 1 on Friday, or even Saturday, doesn’t assure you a win on Sunday.
