I don’t know how Cold Hearted Racing got access to this, but here they are to show us every single detail about Ole Heavy, the ’47 Chevrolet Pickup that has become famous on the Memphis Street Outlaws show. They claim this thing weighs 4,600 lbs or some such thing, and we hear those numbers change every once in a while. As a dude that owns a legit 4600 lb plus ride, I can tell you that I don’t really believe it. With that said, this thing is pretty bad ass and I kinda dig it. In fact, the fact that it now has a ProCharged Small Block combo in it, instead of nitrous, makes me love it even more. After all, our 4,600 lb wagon we call Ethyl has a 400 inch small block in it that used to eat a lot of nitrous and now has it’s own ProCharger on board. Ours looks to be quite a bit smaller than J.J.’s but we’ll see how it works for them. Maybe we can setup a race between the two ole heavy girls and see who ends up on top.
Of course, for that to happen I’d have to bring my scales and they’d have to be prepared to add weight until we were even. We aren’t playing games around here, and I know not to believe much that comes out of a street racers mouth.
