PRI Show Photos: The Performance Racing Industry Show In Indy Is On! Race Cars And Race Parts Galore. Coverage Starts Here!

The PRI Show in Indy is on folks and every race part manufacturer is here at the Indianapolis Convention Center showing their wares. This place is Mecca for racers and crews and we love this show. It’s got the best of the best and everything here is racing related. There are no chrome accessories, no show car parts, and nothing that doesn’t help make power or put it to the ground. All the racers, crew chiefs, and teams are here checking out everything new and preparing for the new season and car builders are here selling new cars for 2022 as well. If you want the check out the latest and greatest and are looking for the best new parts for your engine, chassis, drivetrain, or race operation, this is the place to be.

Coming to this show means you’ll see race cars from every kind of motorsport, plus tractor pull tractors, trucks, haulers, and more. This is one of those places where you are drooling over parts everywhere you turn and that is awesome. I love this show and can tell you that if you are a racer then this is the trade show specifically for you without a bunch of stuff you don’t care about.

Here are our first batch of photos, and I’ll be shooting more all day today and tomorrow so you can check them out.

Rarely am I so negative, so I won’t be with the first set of pics from PRI. Instead, allow me to offer my point of view, and how to provide useful info since I can’t be there. Pictures of cars are meaningless, they’re eye candy to pull people into the respective booths. Pictures of toters/haulers are worthless to the average skid like me especially due to price, the lack of need and a freakin place to park it, enough said. There’s one picture you took that was an info card for a short track motor, now, that was high value. I actually could read about features of the motor. That’s the only new dealio I got with useful info.

I suggest taking a pic of the new gizmo and it’s associated sign board or brochure. That would at least provide rudimentary details of the said new gizmo and who to contact for detailed info. That would help tremendously. That way at least I would know what’s new in the industry.

Save the pics of cars for its own “photo set” and title it “ Worthless race car pics of PRI 2021”. I apologize for the negative opinion.

Too bad you couldn’t make it this year. Get it on your calendar and make a point of going next year. That way you can look at and preserve what is important to you. This show is worth your time. I didn’t make it over to Lucas to see the haulers, so I appreciate Chad taking the time to give me an idea of what I missed. There’s not near enough space here to show everything new. I take a full day or better to see products and talk to vendors of just what interests me. And it is kinda cool to see cars from TV and internet. Look how popular the Batmobile still is.

Wow, didn’t realize the world revolves around you. Maybe if you want all that info you should actually go to the show?
