It’s on like Donkey Kong baby! With an incredibly abbreviated drag racing season there are events happening all over the place trying to take advantage of whatever weather we’ve got left for the year. This is a true test of racers and promoters as everyone is racing weekend after weekend the past two months. With the giant radial races at SGMP finished, there is still some other great racing going on where X275, LDR, PRO 275, and KOTS take over Huntsville this weekend along with a bunch of other fun to watch classes. The weather has been perfect so far, and the pits are packed with cars trying to take home their piece of the pie.

If you haven’t been to Huntsville for a race, you are missing out. This is one of those tracks with its own personality, it is a character all its own, and if you don’t have fun here then you must not be trying very hard. Racing action starts this morning at 10am and there promises to be no shortage of action as they work their way through this event all day tomorrow and into the evening. We’re sure that there will be some fun, wheels up, and ultra fast racing going on since qualifying already say cars in the 3.80s on a 275. Yes please!
