I’m not exactly sure how they stacked two Mazda 13B rotary engines together, but I sure do like it! Rotary engines are super loud, and quite honestly rather inefficient, but man they sound cool when there are 4 rotors instead of just 2. This one is as clean as it is fast, and thanks to Kyle and the crew at 1320 Video, who have been running around Australia shooting all kinds of fun stuff, you get to check it out.

Stock these little Mazda RX-2 sedans came with a two rotor that was just 70 cubic inches and made less than 100 horsepower. They were still fun. This one has to be a riot!

The key words in this video are “custom crank”.

I always thought that if one was willing to put the money into those words, that the rotor packages could just be stacked up almost endlessly.

    Well done, cool build.

they could in theory be, there have been 4 rotors before, there are even a couple 6 rotors. the problem is the ecentric shafts dont seem to last with boost. they just havent gotten them that well sorted yet, but give it time and im sure itll happen.
