While we are pretty sure that nobody expected Derek’s Barn Find Camaro to actually go down the dragstrip “quickly”, I’m sure there were also quite a few who wondered if it could make it all the way down under it’s own power. Luckily for him, the Vice Grip Garage Barn Find Camaro wasn’t the only questionable ride that was going down the dragstrip last weekend. The Battle of the Beaters race is full of them, as no car racing can have a value of more than $2,999 as decided by Freiburger and the crowd he’s consulting with.

The whole family and a guy went to the Duct Tape Drags at Tucson Dragway. We brought the barn find camaro with a 305 paired to a 5 speed, and are about to see what it can run in the “battle of the beaters”!
