(Photos by Cole Reynolds) We were at Holley’s LSFest West in Las Vegas all weekend long and are trying to recover from sensory overload now that we’re back home. With drifting, off-road racing, autocross, 3S, road course, drag racing, several shootouts and the Sac Speed Shop Sideshow going on all weekend at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, it was non-stop tire smoke, noise, and fun. This event has a totally different personality and flare to it than LSFest in Bowling Green, which is cool because it makes them both unique. We have been a part of the LSFest family since its inception and seeing LSFest West growing at such a rapid rate is something that makes us feel great about these events. While I was out and about announcing all that is LSFest, Cole was out shooting photos like a mad man.
This year there were some big changes with a much much larger Sideshow pit, much bigger drift courses, and an overall layout that had spectators, racers, and fans immersed in all the action. When you combine the awesome LVMS staff to the mix, including awesome shuttle drivers who were making laps all weekend, it was an atmosphere that had racers, fans, and family all having a great time together. This is the kind of even that really is a party, which is what it should be when you are celebrating everything LS related. We have to thank all the racers who came out to, as we had record numbers of entries in every single category this year. And the spectator parking lot was PACKED! This will be an LSFest West to remember, that’s for sure, and we are already excited about next year.
Here is our first gallery of photos from the event, and we’ll have more coming each day for the next week so stay tuned. Remember, you can click on any photo below to make it larger and to scroll through our slideshow.
