(Photos by Bad Bad’s Speed Shots) –  I know that I may sound like a happy little ray of sunshine when I talk about the current state of the sport of drag racing but the reality is that there is an amazing amount of positive stuff going on these days. When the NHRA was packing the house in Atlanta, Todd Martin and Keith Haney were doing the same thing at their own track, Tulsa Raceway Park for the Throwdown in T-Town Spring 2016 edition.

The Throwdown races have become some of the most well known in the country and the guys always bring in a ton of talent and have big bucks on the line for those hard running races to chase. This year was no exception and the event offered a ton of things to do and cars to experience. If the lead photo for this story doesn’t make you smile you need to find a new hobby.
