We don’t need to tell you how bad ass the 5th Gen COPO Camaros are, or the fact that they share the same heritage that created the COPO 9560 and 9561 Camaros back in 1969, but we will. Like the original COPO Camaros these are very limited in production, with only 69 being built each year. And not just anyone can buy one of these. There is a lottery. A lottery that my dad somehow won this year so that he was given the chance to order and own a new 2015 COPO Camaro. Unfortunately the price tag was a little out of reach for us. If you didn’t get in on the lottery, then you probably won’t get to realize your dream of owning a COPO unless you buy one used from someone else that did get one. That’s all well and good, but if you want the new car smell and you want to know that nobody else has crapped themselves in the seat you are occupying, this might be the perfect car for you. It’s 2015 COPO #57 and it has no miles on it. Never drag raced, and it’s been sitting in Ashland, Oregon for a very short time since arriving from GM. And did we mention it’s the big motor supercharged car? Yeah, it is.
We know you want this. Hell, we want this! We can’t afford it. But one of you out there can. I already checked to see if I could finance it. No dice.

Other than watching them race, I haven’t kept tract of what they have been selling for, new or used. Is the $145 large the going price for a new one or is that a major over priced number?
If I could by it I would name it Connie II and paint it Lemans Blue. I’d also get a vin tag so I could take it on Dragweek
If you knew you couldn’t afford it,Why did you accept it ? Why didn’t you tell G.M , and they could have pulled a new lottery number for someone who could afford it and give a good home. Sounds like a little bit of GREED to me
