This Hemi Powered 1970 Plymouth GTX Is Pro Street Goodness We Would Love To Cruise

Even if you are a small tire or radial racer, there is still a part of every car fanatic that just loves something about seeing a big tire under the back of a car. After all, nothing says racecar like a giant tire out back. And it certainly doesn’t hurt if there is something sticking out of the hood too. This 1970 Plymouth GTX is Hemi powered, with 526 cubic inches of Elephant under the hood that makes 900 horsepower, has the right attitude, great parts, and more. You can’t build it for anywhere near this kind of money, that’s for sure. Check it out.

“Hemi R/T (R/T’s being exclusively Dodges) badging on the doors, GTX decal on the dash, booming speakers and ice chests? What? Makes me question his judgement and claims about the rest of the build…

    Yeah… R/T?? Why???

The big sound systems and ice chests tell me this is “car show” only. Park it, turn on the tunes, and have your cold beverages readily available.
    Doesn’t mean it doesn’t romp. But…

I like it too, even if the R/T badges may not have been the best call. It’s a pretty minor detail in the grand scheme of things. But if I had it, I’d definitely take it bracket racing, at the very least. If I had a car like that, I’d want to be sure all 900 of those horses got their proper exercise.
