This 1956 Chevy Station Wagon Would Be The Perfect March Meet Cruiser Or Cackle Push Car!

The guys at Stoker’s Hot Rod Factory are cool because they have all kinds of fun old stuff sitting around. Well that and the fact that they build bitchin hot rods. They are right down the street from my shop, which sucks because that means that sometimes I’m drooling over stuff that is sitting at their place when I have no business looking at more toys. So it came as no surprise to me that this insanely bitchin 1956 Chevy Station Wagon showed up there and got the clean and primp special so that it could be driven again and go to a new home. The price is certainly right, but I can’t afford it. The color combo is bitchin, it’s only been painted once and in the original colors. And best of all it is a real V8 car that sets right and would be a riot to turn into your daily driver or cackle car push car.

There are tons of photos of this thing and it’s rust free. Okay, there is one tiny spot on the bottom of the tailgate, but for all of you people outside of California this is the holy grail of 1956 Chevy Station Wagons. This one inspires me to get off my ass and get Rusty back on the road.

1956 Chevy 210 4-Door Station Wagon

Very Dry, original car. Originally purchased in Salem Oregon, built in Oakland, CA.

Car is an original PowerPak 265 4-Barrel Car. Original engine and powerglide trans. It has had one re-paint approx. 15 years ago in it’s original Crocus yellow/Black Color Combo. The door jambs, under hood and around tailgate are still original paint. The interior is all original, except for carpet.

The car is very dry. The only rust is a small hole on the back side (inside) tailgate. There was also a small patch install on the outside of tailgate in the same location. The floors, rockers etc. are very nice. The paint shines very well. All chrome is original plating and shows age, all molding is original and nice. Glass is all original and has cracks in the vent windows.

Before we purchased the car, it was last registered in 1984. It now has current California tags. We also did the front and rear brakes, cleaned fuel system, installed Edelbrock Carb (original carb will go with the car, but original air cleaner was missing), new wheels, tires and hubcaps, new exhaust. Runs and drives good.
