Bumper Dragging Small Tire Nova: David Holtgrew’s Wheelstand At The Battle Grudge Race

It sounds weird to say, but there are times on a dragstrip when too much bite actually does exist, and David Holtgrew experienced it first had when his cool small tire Nova stood up at the hit during The Battle Grudge Race in Las Vegas Saturday. As soon as he left the starting line, the bitchin little Nova pulled the front wheels out of the beams and went for the bumper.

In this exclusive BANGshift.com video, you’ll see that once the bumper hit, and sent some sparks flying, the right rear tire came off the ground and the car started going right. To this point David was showing no signs of lifting, but the turn got his attention and he did all he could to keep it off the wall. That including lifting which brought the front crossmember firmly in contact with the strip causing  really cool spark show.
