Unfortunately, the number of car folks who actually participate in a cheap car battle with their friends is relatively low, but it is one of the more talked about hair brained schemes during drinking and bench racing sessions, I assure you. We’ve all sat around talking about how we should buy cheap cars and then take them out and run them against each other on a back yard dirt track, or the drag strip, or whatever. And I truly believe it would be a riot to do so in most cases, but it is usually just bench racing talk and never comes to fruition.
