Cerakote is pretty cool stuff, and folks are finding more and more ways to use it. It’s a heat and abrasion resistant coating, and it looks great! I know that it has been used on many car parts, firearms and shooting accessories, machinery, and more, but it is usually thought to be expensive to have applied and definitely not a DIY product. But what if that is not the case and you can apply Cerakote in your own garage or shop? After watching this video I definitely want to apply it to some parts on projects I’ve got.

And like I said above, it’s durable, so it can go under the hood or on the outside of the car. I’ve seen plenty of bumpers and trim parts that were Cerakoted, and wheels as well.
