Sometimes the best tips someone can give you about a technical subject is what tools to buy and not to buy. Or which tools to spend real money on, and which ones don’t need to be fancy. Well this tool here is going to seem kind of silly to some folks, but I’ve been wanting one of these since the first time I saw them and everyone I know that teaches metal shaping and fabrication has gotten one in the last year. What is it you ask? Well, it’s a beveler.
Yep, it bevels metal.
And before you go on about having an angle grinder that can do the same thing, no it can’t. Not with the efficiency, cleanliness, and consistency that this little tool makes happen.
This is why it has been included in the Bennett’s Customs Co 10 Fabrication How To’s.

Neat tool for sure, and affordable, until you buy replacement carbide inserts. Not sure how long they last at the speed he was running it but stand but for shelling out a couple bucks each for replacement carbides.
