Holley LSFest is one of our favorite events of the year, and if Friday morning is any indication this will be the biggest and baddest one yet! We’ve seen every kind of factor LS Powered machine, all the normal swaps, and the creative folks have also started rolling through the gates already. We will be bringing you coverage throughout the weekend and into next week as well. Galleries will be going up randomly throughout the weekend, at least a couple per day, so stay sharp and make sure you are looking for our coverage. It’s going to be awesome!
One of our favorite things about LSFest every year is the creative LS Swaps. We’ve seen them in nearly every make over the years, but people are getting more and more creative with their builds now so that means even more variety.
One of the cars that has already gotten us excited, and that you’ll see more of throughout the weekend and beyond, is a car that normally comes with a slug of an engine and that weighs a jillion pounds. We’re not sure what, if anything they’ve done to lighten it up, but we are 100% certain that there is a TON more horsepower under the hood of this cool old Rolls Royce. It has already run 11.50 since we first saw it this morning and we’re hoping there is some kind of roll-bar in it so we can see it run even quicker than that. These cars weighed well over 4000 lbs stock and since we have some experience with making a 4000 plus pounder go down the track in the 11’s, we know this thing needs some serious grunt. The same power in the Corvette next to it would make it a 10 second runner without issue.
