How Did I Miss This New Harbor Freight Trailer At The SEMA Show? The Perfect Start To Your Dream Drag And Drive Trailer? Or More?

I was so busy at the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas that I didn’t get to see some of the coolest stuff! I’m just finding this out of course and now I am mad at myself. I want to check out on of these new Harbor Freight Load Master trailers. These new trailers are considerably larger than their original little red bolt together trailers, but still within the size range that someone could use for a drag and drive trailer. In recent years, rule changes have gone from 4’x8′ trailer limits to any single axle trailer, with 4×8 being sort of a suggestion. Well the cool thing is that this trailer is 5’x10′ and would be a great drag and drive trailer with minimal work. Or…you could do something really cool with it.

I’ve said for years that if you don’t want to build a dedicated drag and drive trailer, you could easily build a “crate” that you could sit on a small flatbed trailer. This is the perfect trailer for that. Then you could remove the box, or “crate”, when you don’t need it and you’d have a small utility trailer that would be handy for normal jobs around the house or shop. As a guy that only owns big trailers, I sure could use a smaller one, so this could be perfect!

Check out the video below to see the tie down features, and other cool modular components that are featured on this trailer. Plus how easy it is to assemble at home. Hand tools are all that are needed, and you’ve got a cool trailer capable of hauling loads that you can customize.
