Have you seen these Solar Generators lately and wondered if they were worth having? They are a battery pack, available in multiple sizes, with an inverter built into them so that you can run both 12v and 120v items off of them. The largest ones even have 240v outlets, just like a big gasoline, diesel, or propane powered generator. The difference between these and a fuel powered generator is that the fuel powered generator only makes power while it is running.
These are rechargeable and you can either recharge them through your house power or car power, OR you can get a solar panel and use that to charge/power them. As long as their is sunlight, the solar panel will create energy and charge the battery unit, depending on the load you have on it at the time.
Project Farm is back at it with some cool testing, just in time for the winter weather to hit.
