Krazy Kelly’s Crew VS Big Chief, Murder Nova, And McDoogle On The REAL STREETS OF THE 405!!!

The Street Outlaws TV shows have taken street racing to a whole new level across the country, and made all of the 405 crew into household names. They are heroes to some, celebrities for sure, and certainly fast. But do any of them actually race on the street anymore? Well, according to this video from the Midwest Street Cars Automotive crew they are doing some serious racing still. Check out these matchups featuring Krazy Kelly’s crew up against some of the 405, including Chief in the Crow and Shawn in the Murder Nova. Check it out below.

To some they are heroes and im sure they are Nice guys. But i cannot see past the fact that what they are doing is not legal, they are not only risking Their own life but also risking the lives of innocent people.

I have been a Young guy too and done stupid things, but none of them are Young stupid guys, they are Grown men with kids. Im all for the hotrods and racing cars. But that should be done on a racetrack where the conditions are as safe as possible. The fact that they are getting airtime on a popular tv channel is making them look cool, so much so that Young stupid guys are doing Their own version even if they say on the show, dont try this at home. Remember the MTV show where guys would hurt themselves or each other for the hell of it, they too Said dont do this at home, but alot did anyways and Got hurt.

Im sorry but racing Belongs on a track, not on public Streets where someone could get in the Way.

The strange thing is…some might think…that this was still illegal? It was said on the show once that, they have a couple of places they can go…as long as they tell the police first…to make a run or two.

One spot is in front of the Fireball Camaro shop…the other is a spot Chief has used for years. In fact Chief became the defacto leader, because of the way he runs the show, and protects the racers.

He knows the spot and, knows, that it’s safe, and more than likely called the officers who frequently go through that area.

I have not heard that they have permission to race from the police. I have only seen how they test and run before the Cops come. I hope you are right about them Being legal cause i have seen first hand how shit can hit the fan when a innocent guy gets in the Way.

If they indeed are doing it legal then its cool. If not, then they need to get of the streets and on a track.

Some episodes show Big Chief out searching for a road to race on…..
but they always seem to end up on the
same street featured in most episodes.

The street seems be well lit and has no
intersections…..looks too be a perimiter road at an airport.

Also to protect itself the production company must provide safety crews and
insurance or risk being party to and promoting an illegal drag race.

Street Outlaws is shot on a closed course in an industrial park (mainly to limit access). Ironically the location of the past few seasons is slightly outside of the 405. (The closer sites were too hard to control and caused controversy)

The locations in the video are well-known to 405ers. Test hits were mostly northbound on S. Council near SH 152 (a mile or so north of Midwest Street Cars). The races are at about 8700 S. I-35 Service Road (Just North of Bob Moore Ford). See Google Street View.

The ears tucked into the black ball caps look is pretty stupid for a 17 year old saggy panted gang banger, and even more pathetic on a 30-something “I wanna be cool” guy.

Grow up . You look ridiculous.

Im sure that they could have their racing needs filled legal one a track if they wanted to, but im guessing its more fun and trilling doing it illegal. Some guys dont grow up, just like me according to my wife. But im not into doing things that are illegal or as stupid as streetracing putting others at risk. Even if the street they use have none or wery little public traffic, its still a public place where someone could get in the Way of a Pro mod doing 200 mph.

Im sorr, im all for the cars and making noise maybe even a burnout. But i dont like when people act stupid just because they want to be “bad boys” its all fun and games till someone dies.

Maybe he was still putting things together, but in the beginning he\’s got no cover at all on the tranny & driveline inside the car. I hope that\’s not how it is all the time. When he grenades it, he\’ll be shredded. Not sure it is \’cool\’ to be killed by an input shaft or a chunk of tranny casing. I respect the safety rules groups like NHRA enforce. The rulebook is written in blood. Be safe people.

    This is silly.
    Knock it off already.

    \”Reality\” show…..\”stars\”.

I saw part of one of their shows a few Thanksgivings ago.
Some idiot was dressed as a pile of leaves to \”spy\” on somebody\’s test session.

    Street racing \”Kate Plus 8\”.

    My heroes.
    They\’re zeroes.
