I watch several metal shapers on YouTube. Not only because I find their projects fun, but also because I love seeing what tools and techniques they use to create all kinds of cool parts and pieces for them. One of the premier metal shapers in the United States right now is Mike over at Cornfield Customs, who build killer projects, mandrel bends chassis rails, and shapes sheet metal using some of the coolest tools. So when he comes out with a video that specifically shows techniques revolving around a particular tool or technique, we’re always watching.
In this one, he’s demonstrating how to use a shrinker or stretcher to move and shape sheet metal. And besides the usual kick shrinker/stretcher, he’s got a couple of different and unique ones to show us. Check it out and let us now what you think.
