Modern Automotive Performance Proving Grounds, the all encompassing event where Drag Racing, Drifting, Autocross, and Road Course action abounds is one impressive event. It is much like Holley’s LSFest, but with any engine and vehicle allowed. In fact, if you want to get right down to it the damn thing is a mini truck run. Well sort of. Okay maybe there aren’t minitrucks at this place, but the vibe and camping and all that is EXACTLY like all the minitruck runs we used to go to back in the day. I will admit though that there is a ton more horsepower going on here and it certainly is fun to watch.
