Satellite Launch: What Happens When Three YouTubers Come Together In A Junkyard!

Satellite Launch: What Happens When Three YouTubers Come Together In A Junkyard!

About the same time I was watching Rocky Mountain Raceway throw down for the final party, there was something going on closer to home. Kevin from JunkyardDigs was itching to get back to his work and hobby following his return from the other side of the world, so with his buddy Luke, who runs the ThunderHead289 channel, in tow, they piled into a 1980s Oldsmobile and headed east. The goal was to link up with another YouTuber, Dylan McCool, and to get up to the kinds of projects that all three channels are known for: rescue and rehabilitation of forgotten machines. The target was a 1970 Plymouth Satellite that has been on McCool’s radar for a bit. (Ok, it was the second target, but I don’t blame Kevin for running from the Javelin he originally chose.) He knows the owner of the car and secured permission for what you’ll see here in the video, which is a thrash to get the Satellite running and moving for the first time in a decade or so. There wasn’t a possum that needed to be re-homed and there wasn’t any real need for any HAZMAT suits, but there was some required work to get the Plymouth to bark a little bit, let alone move from the ground where it had been sinking in for some time. It might be a mild recovery, but after ten years, anything could need attention…brakes, tires, wiring, name it and it should probably be looked over. If for nothing else, to make sure that there are no more red wasps hiding!

That is just crazy. There was nothing wrong with that car when it was parked except a fuel pump. Nothing.
