It’s the final RTRA (Radial Tire Racing Association) race of 2017 and we’ll be LIVE from a 60 foot boom lift right here at BANGshift.com starting around 6:30 pm Central Time. We’ll grab all the action, in the pits, on the track, and from the boom! If you are a fan of Drag Radial Racing, then you won’t want to miss this. Northstar Dragway, near Denton Texas, is home to some of the baddest drag radial prep on the planet, and we’re excited as hell to watch all the action during the season finale.
Last year’s RTRA events at Northstar Dragway were some of the record settingest races we’ve ever been a part of, and this weekend’s Texas Small Tire Throwdown promises more of the same.
In addition to Pro Drag Radial, X275, and Limited 275, this weekend’s RTRA festivities will include a Small Tire No-Time shootout, a 6.50 Index street car class, and True Street. Unlike most True Street Classes you are used to, this one has full eliminations rounds and involves real racing not just time trials. It should be really fun to watch, that’s for sure.
