Scotty Palmer is one of the most popular drivers in NHRA Drag Racing, in part because last year he kicked a lot of ass and never once did it without having a great time. In fact, when his team made their first NHRA Top Fuel Final he lost and yet the team still lost their minds. So much so that they actually did a turn around on the car just so they could cackle the car and do clutch seat whomps. The crowd around them in the pits was INSANE!!! This is a team that is taking absolute advantage of the amazing opportunity they have in life and that means they won’t miss any chance at having fun and making memories.
It will come as no surprise then that when they didn’t make the NHRA Championship Chase this year they decided they were not going to hit all the remaining NHRA races and would instead make select appearances at favorite local tracks around the country along with a couple of the remaining NHRA National Events. We love it and so do the fans as they get a chance to watch Scotty and the gang to things never believed possible at some of these little tracks. One such track is Ozark Raceway, Scotty’s home track, where his reset the track record multiple times in one weekend of racing, making sure that the fans got a show each and every time he went down the track.

I remember Scotty talking to my uncle Buddy Farmer about how both of em were crazy for running balls out on such a short track getting they\’re brakes hot warping the hubs just to make the turn at the end. Anything for the fans and a butt puckering rush as only 2 old school drag racers would do!
