We’ve all said it, thought it, or heard it. They don’t make things like they used to! But is that true? Or are we romanticizing the tools and parts and stuff that we love from back in the day? I’ve said many times that I think the finest Camaro ever built is a 1969 model. I have one, I love it, and I think they are the sexiest, coolest, and best ever. BUT… that’s because I love it. The truth is that by every measurable metric, a 2024 Camaro is a better performing car. It just is. That doesn’t mean you want one as much as you’d like a 1969, or a 1989, but by the numbers it is a much better car. So are tools the same way? Or did they really build tools better back in the day? In the video below we are going to find out as tools from as far back as the 1920s are being put to the test against their modern counterparts.
What do you think is going to happen? Are we living in the heyday of tools? Or were the best ones sold 100 years ago?
Video Description:

Let’s give all the tools a comprehensive performance review and we’ll see if tool technology and build quality has improved or become worse! By the way, there’s a “part 2” to this review over on the new Project Farm Extra Channel. Viewers have provided a lot of very interesting topics. I hope you’ll check out part 2 and future videos on the channel.
I purchased all of the tools, bot new and vintage. So, thank you for supporting the channel! It helps a lot!
