Watch John Hale’s One Bad Texan Funny Car Get Wrapped. Man This Is A Lot Of Work!

John Hale’s One Bad Texan Nostalgia Nitro Funny Car has been one of the more popular in nostalgia drag racing over the past few years. We’ve been lucky enough to have John spotlight BANGshift.com on his cars over the years, but the One Bad Texan 1969 Camaro has always been our favorite. This cool video from Car Wrap City shows the entire process of taking this carbon fiber Camaro body from plain jane to show stopping hot rod. This is a pretty cool video because watching it will give you a whole new appreciation for the process of wrapping a vehicle.

See these pros lay down the vinyl, while following all the sharp body lines of a 1969 Camaro, and you’ll realize just how much work goes into wrapping one of these. It will also give you some perspective on just how long a Funny Car body is compared to the real thing. I know I have issues just getting decals on a car straight, I can’t imagine how much practice it takes to get an entire wrap straight on a vehicle.

Does anyone else find a “nostalgia” funny in carbon fiber kinda weird? Might as well be a new Charger blob like Schumacher runs.

Ha, you think that’s bad. Go look up Bobby Cottrell’s and Dan Horan Jr.’s “nostalgia” camaro funny cars

How much longer would it take to paint all that? What is the cost difference? I know wraps aren’t cheap just curious. Lots of time involved there; interesting to see the tricks of the trade.
