Sometimes technique is everything, and using the right products can be a game changer. When combined, the right methods and techniques, along with the right chemicals and coatings, can make all the difference in how the finished product turns out. Suspension and chassis components are one of the better examples of this because they suffer so much abuse in their lives that getting them clean, rust free, and properly coated can be a challenge. I find that the worst part about making old chassis parts look nice is making them not rusty and pitted. Without this step being done right, it seems like the coating will never be as nice as you like.
