El Camino Project: How To Bend Hard Lines For A Transmission Cooler, Or Brake And Fuel Lines Too!

Video Description:

Automatic transmissions need to cool the fluid so it doesn’t burn up. For most applications, this means running coolant lines to the radiator (or separate cooler). Instead of running rubber lines the whole way, we like to make hard lines that run along the frame and then connect to the transmission with a short section of rubber line.

Jefferson walks you through the entire process of straightening coiled hard line, flaring the ends, bending the lines to fit, and connecting all of the hoses. You can use this process for any hard line such as brake and fuel lines.
