How To Build A Roller Bender For Tubing, Flat Stock, Bar, And More, In Your Own Garage

If you do any kind of metal fabrication for cars then you have either wanted or purchased a tubing bender. The most common type is one that bends round tubing for roll bars, roll cages, and tubular parts. But sometimes a big gentle curve is what you want, especially for something like a frame rail or for something decorative. There are lots of benders for that, and they are called a roll bender, or roller bender, because instead of forming material in a die they form it by rolling it under pressure.

In this video you’ll see a DIY roll bender going together that will not only roll a variety of material shapes, but also make some scroll work like you’d see on fences and such. Check it out and let us know what you think, because we thing these are cool and want to make one of our own!
